Pause at Morne Fortune before continuing to the lovely Marigot Bay, through the lush Cul de Sac and Roseau banana plantations, and through the quaint fishing villages of Anse-La-Raye and Canaries. Continue along the winding road on the edge of the rain forest through an abundance of tropical flowers before reaching the historic Rabot Estate of Soufriere. Dating back to 1745, the cocoa estate is the oldest on the island and home to some very rare old trees which are of significant scientific and chocolate interest. Shell and grind the flavorful cocoa beans and learn the technique of mixing and pounding them into your very own chocolate bar to take home with you.
